The second time around reading this book made me realize how great it was.Even if I didn't like the fact that Rose was leading Adrian on while she was in the midst of trying to save Dimitri. I doubt she probably even knew that she was doing it to be honest.
I did really love her determination and everything she and the others did to save Dimitri.
From breaking Victor from Prison to finding his brother and getting him to tell her how you go about curing a Strigoi.
Then there was all the Strigoi Dimitri stuff.. to finally the showdown, which resulted in Dimitri going back to being a Dhampir.
I really loved Lissa.. more than I ever did before in this book. She stood up. She was strong and she did what needed to be done.
She did her part. I was proud of her.
I also really liked that she stood by him when he refused to see Rose.
I am also glad she and Christian found their way back together.
It was quite the cliffhanger.. and I'm itching to see what happens in the final book which comes out in a week! :D
